If You’re Gonna Do Something, Do It Right
Last week, we were driving and up ahead us in the lane to the right was a black, 80’s model Firebird. As we got closer, we could see that it had a vanity plate that read “ITS KITT” (or something to that effect. The wife and I got a chuckle out of that but the real enjoyment came when we passed the Firebird and saw the front of the car: it had the light sensor bar thingy that KITT had!

Now here’s where things get weird. In all of the iterations of Knight Rider - 80’s original, the 2008 remake, Knight Rider 2000, Team Knight Rider - the light bar has always been red, right? Not on this car.
It was yellow.
So I have to wonder: if you’re going to go to all the trouble to make your car look like KITT, why would you not get the right color light bar? I can’t imagine that a red LED light bay thingy would cost more than a yellow one and even if it did, if you’re going to spent money on modding your car to look like KITT, wouldn’t you want it to ACTUALLY look like KITT?
